Julio and Nilton Arêdes have been running the George and Dragon since May 2008, they share between them over twenty years of experience in the catering industry.

Head Chef Nilton’s food is a mixture of eclectic and traditional gastro pub, with influences of his native Brazil. Ingredients are sourced through local suppliers and the use of seasonal, ethical, organically grown and free range produce is prioritised whenever possible.

There is a great range of beers available including Frulli (strawberry beer), Paulaner (Munich), Honey Dew (Fuller’s organic) and award winning Litovel (Czech lager). There are also a good selection of ales; HSB, London Pride, Chiswick and a guest. The wine list boasts Sommelier Award Winning Wines of 2007 as well as a wide range of wines by the glass. All these served by a friendly and efficient team of staff led by Julio.
